IT ISN'T WHAT IT SEAMS
Details
The Bacchanalia rituals (circa 200 BC) were secret night-time gatherings, similar to what we might now describe as a rave. Led by the Bacchantes, these rituals symbolized rebellion against societal norms, allowing women to create their own world where they could celebrate the hidden freedom of the night.
Three workshops:
In the spirit of Bacchanalia, we invite you to a series of three workshops to shape what rave means to you. Can raves, seemingly chaotic events, actually be spaces of shared freedom and creativity?
Under the guidance of artists and designers and , specialized in textiles, multimedia sculpture and scenography, you can experiment with fabrics, papier-mâché, light and other materials. Together we will build an installation that embraces chaos and strives for the unexpected. Together we will unlock new forms of expression. No requirements needed.
This installation will be exhibited during the closing event on February 15, 2025. Join us to collectively reshape the rave and build a world where freedom, play and artistry come together.
